I took this image this afternoon and like the image all around. My biggest concern is the yellow shrub behind my son. I burned in PS a little, but now I'm unsure whether I should burn more or use another PP software to change the color so it doesn't distract from the subject.
My question's:
EXIF: Exposure: 1/250 Aperture: f/3.2 Focal Length: 90 mm ISO Speed: 100 Exposure Bias: +1/3 EV Flash: Fired, Return not detected (used to trigger SB-800 at camera left)

It is a little distracting, yes. I would try adjusting the actual color or just pulling back the saturation. I don't think blurring it in PS would do any good as it is already out of focus.
I really like the photo, otherwise. You caught a great expression!
