Default Baby rolls - my fav!!

This is my first critique post on DPS (I'm a little nervous because I haven't had good vibes with other forums... ) I love shooting babies and I'm a big fan of available lighting because I like the setting to be as natural and comfortable as possible. My question is if the reflections in her eyes are distracting? Also, is the exposure appealing? I like a chiaroscuro effect but I'd like to know if that is appealing to others as well.

TIA!

I'm absolutely no expert but I love this picture -- the tight crop makes it intense and the eyes make your subject seem utterly engaging (which I'm sure s/he is). I'm not at all distracted by the reflections! In short, a great capture; if I could take anything half as good I'd be happy...

I like the expression, composition, etc but something seems off with the focus or sharpness.

Thank you
And I agree about something being a little off. I'm still trying to figure out my 50mm 1.4 lens and it is taking some practice. I had so many shots that were out of focus - I guess it's a good thing I take a lot of pictures! I guess I don't take time to compose because babies are so fast and I think you need to snap snap snap.
