Default First Studio Shoot

Today was my first time to shoot in a studio situation. With my daughter as my model, I got to play until she got tired. I would appreciate feedback on lighting (very different from natural light) and overall effect...or any other thoughts you might have. Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

EXIF #1: 1/15 sec, f 5, 70mm ISO 3200

#2:1/6 sec, f 5.6, 120mm, ISO 3200

#3: 1/13, f 5.6 90mm, ISO 3200

#4: 1/13 sec, f5.6, 110mm, ISO 3200

I am not a expert. But IMHO, in the first one the shadows on her face are distracting. In number two I feel the lighting on the back of her head should be higher up. Like on the crown of her head. The lighting just seems to harsh.
Now having said that. What a beautiful little model!!!

I'm confused by your EXIF - if this was a lit studio situation, why did you need such high ISO and slow shutter speed?

What fun!
In Pics 1 and 3 definite motion blur. Either you or her or maybe a bit of each of you were moving. #2 is i don't see a lot of motion blur but the hair is in sharp focus and the eys a bit soft - probably want that the other way around. #4 is solid, image is sharp, eyes are in focus. well done the best of the set. I agree with Lois on the shadows on #1 and the location of the hair light on #2. Lighting on 3 is a little flat but still good. Lighting on #4 is about perfect. Overall I think you did a FANTASIC job for the first time working with studio lights.

Your shutter speeds are far to slow for photographing children, they are movers. It just a personal thing but i try not to get below 1/100. Are these hand held or on a tripod? Below 1/60 you need to be on a tripod and if you are in a studio with studio lighting or even a flash off camera what is up with the ISO?

She is a really cute girl! I bet you have lots of fun playing around!
