If the custom WB is not working, you could probably get close enough setting it to tungsten, no? I'm too lazy to do custom wb, I just correct in raw after using the wb settings in camera.

ttosifa - good point - the shot used to set custom WB does not have to be in focus...I should have been more clear. My Canon won't shoot if I have it set to AF and it cannot obtain a focus. So I sometimes have to switch to MF just to get the shot off, not necessarily to get the picture in focus.

daddyo - tungsten WB would probably get you close. and shooting in raw and fixing WB after shooting will definitely work...I'm actually too lazy to do that in post, though. : ) I know it's simple enough to do a batch edit of RAW photos shot in the same light, but I always end up spending too much time fussing with pictures when I open up my RAW software.
