Default Another bath shot....

Ok, so for those who helped me out in the other thread: http://digital-photography-school.co...ing-wrong.html Here is the play I had tonight while my son was in the bath. I couldn't resist it as there we sooooo many bubbles!!!!!



Tonight I used the following settings:
SS: 1/60
f/3.5
ISO800
Focal length 18mm

Low light + No flash = hard to take good shots.
The shutter is a bit slow for moving subject, so I'd try to lower the ISO to 400 or maybe even 200 to reduce noise and trigger your flash, playing with its settings until you get your capture right.

Thanks for that... I try not to use my flash, as I don't like how it creates the "pin pricks" in their eyes...... I don't have an external flash (yet - it's on my wish list hehe), so I can only use the one on the camera at this stage. Someone has suggested how I can rig up something to create the look of an external flash... but I just haven't been able to try & do it - having a 7mth old & a 20mth old kind've takes up a fair bit of time hehe.....

I did have the lights on in the bathroom, which are downlights, so put off a fair bit of light and there was still a fair bit of light coming through the window (my son had his back to the window... maybe I should have him facing it so I don't get that shadow on his face.....).
