Cool Urban Style - does it work?

Here I have tried for a little more of an upbeat urban style. Does this fit that style? Anything I could do to make it better? Thanks for looking!

I think your image has that feel... but she's real hot on the left and her hair and upper arm just get lost in the background.

The Graffiti on the Wall takes the attention away from the model

I dunno, there are two contradicting factors here in my eyes...

The light shining is too bright to fit with the rest of the dark theme towards the left of the image. Including on the note of things that don't fit is the dirty factor of graffiti in the background.

she seems to pretty and pristine to be in the area with wall tags. however a great idea if you ever go back, try and get her to pose in a way that she is looking around and is lost or confused. because the way the light comes in is almost like a spot like.

not a bad picture, but has room for improvement in my opinion

keep it real

That was one of the areas I wasn't sure about, a bit over-exposed there. Wasn't sure if it added or subtracted from the feel. Thank-you for the feedback!

If the graffiti was desaturated a bit, do you think that would help?

I'll have to try that, having her posed like she's lost, a great idea! If she was dressed differently and/or everything was a bit darker would that better portray the urban feel? This wall is an old daylight basement of a house, (the house burned down) and is actually the only building around. It sits right across from the ocean and is backed by beautiful trees.
You've given me some great ideas, now I can't wait to go back and try them out! Thanks!!!

I like it but I would adjust the light to show her and have the wall more int he shadows but where you can still see it. She just needs to pop a little from the wall. Cool concept.

I think it is the dress that makes her look to frail to be there. If you go back, try putting something more urban on her. I like the direction of the light, just diffuse it a little so it doesn't completely drown her hair and arm. Interested shot! Keep snapping!
