A bit of a different angle - what do you think? Does it work or not? Positives? Negatives? Ways of improving?

My personal suggestions. Focus more on the face, too little of that and the rest is so faded into the background, my eyes wandered trying to find the main focus point.

Also, working on the white balance may help as well.

Just IMO, that is what I would do to attempt to correct it.

With the freckles on the nose, and the lashes, that should become your main focus point, not so much filler background.

Nice pic, but could definately use some work. LOL, I do that with my own pics as well so please dont think I am picking on you, the basic photo is good, just needs a bit of tweeking.

Thank-you, I see what you mean. I'll play with it some more following your suggestions and see what I come up with. I'm not sure about the wb though. How do you think it needs to change? I appreciate the feedback greatly!!!

The biggest thing that caught my attention is the color tone of her back/shoulder. It's very blue/purple and much different than the rest of her skin.

Up close, I couldn't see it but when I back up and look, I see what you're talking about. This is why it's so good to have others evaluate your work - at least for me. Thank-you - more editing to be done! :-)

I played with it a bit but I don't know if it's much better. What do you think? I'm not really sure why it's like that in the first place - couldn't figure it out.

Is this the cropping you were thinking about? Or at a different spot?

I like the latest crop that you did. I like the pic overall. Maybe its just me but I think that the skin tone around her shoulder still looks a little artificial.
