I happen to disagree because it is not showing anything and if you look around at newborn photographers websites you will see that this is a common pose among photographers thanks for your imput anyway

I do not do newborn photography...but I have seen the work of many photographers, some on this site that are much better and much more tasteful than the ones you posted. I am the mother of four boys so I know about babies and they are cute naked but if you are going to photograph them and post it on a public site, make sure they are tasteful. Just take it as advice to better yourself. If you want to go pro, you will need to up your game.

Go look at the SYS under portraits...there are several newborn photos posted there recently that are amazing. Look and learn.

If you post here, you need to be able to take the critique....that's the whole point.

I gladly accept critisicm but next time i will put that i would prefer critisim from those who have experience in photographing newborn children, as these people already have experience in what i am trying to excell in. And I also have 2 sets of twins 2 boys and 2 girls aged 2 1/2 months and 2 years so i have a bit of experience with kids.

Like i said i take all critism on board, and will be more selective in my next posting

thankyou
Well then....since the parents are astounded and you've booked 8 more, then I guess the photos are perfect and don't require any critique.

Regardless of whether or not another photographer specializes in newborns or not, someone with more experience can still spot a poorly exposed/composed/post processed photograph.

Good luck.

Well ladies, you tried I wish they'd left the photo up though so the rest of us could learn from the critique, too. I always find looking at others' streams helps you take their criticism better...if they're awesome and you like their work you should pay attention to the help they're trying to give.
