Here's a pic of a 3 month old. I caught him while he was in a sound sleep.

Do critique it in terms of lighthing, composition and also give suggestions to improve the shot.

The composition is ok but the pic overexposed.. lost almost all the details.

Thanks wal for the feedback. I kind of played around a bit in photoshop to get this effect in which only the head and face are more visible. plus, the baby had some red spots on the skin and hence was trying to avoid them. The original shot is not overexposed.

it is just too bright. personally, I like the look I think you were trying to achieve but you kind of overdone it...
also, why not try taking photo from a different angle...not from standing above the baby?
hope I wasn't harsh... just my thoughts

Yes Marija. You are correct. I know that it is a bit bright and was done on purpose. Also, i have taken many shots of this baby from different angles but i liked this shot coz the baby looked so much at peace while sleeping. And, you should never worry about being harsh as i am here to hone my photograpgy skills and suggestions are always welcome.
