Hi Btafly,

First off what a gorgeous little girl!!! They're always so peaceful when they're sleeping aren't they?

I think your composition is good and the lighting is fantastic.
I may have moved her head down to the bottom and had some empty space at the top of the image and the background would have fallen nicely out of focus for you to centre in on her.

I would love to see what this image look like as 'high key' though, I think she would just look absolutly beautiful, try increasing the lightness of the image in your PP and see how it looks =)

BTW, Can I just ask, what is the grey line at the top of the image? I'm assuming you have added that in yourself or am I wrong?

Well done!!

Kbaby

Hi, what a gorgeous baby. (Aren't they all? )

I agree with Kbaby that the frame should be moved up so that your baby's head is lower in the image. The 'Rule of Thirds' says that a 'horizon' (which in this case would be the medial line across the face, through the nose, between the eyes etc) should be on a level that divides the top two-thirds of the image from the bottom third, or vice versa. Otherwise, great lighting, good focus, all in all a nice shot.

The grey line is an artefact of the current uploading problems with the site. Today's downtime was supposed to fix it, but it has now been put off until tomorrow.
