Default K20?

Wayfarer:
Hope you haven't purchased your K20 like I did. It was a great camera, I had it 9 months. But I purchased too early and should have waited for the K-7. Well, I stopped waiting. The K20 has no real live screen view, bummer. The K-7 has that, plus auto-HDR in the camera (works great). And better vibration reduction. Check the prices, I think the K-7 is worth the extra $$. Skip the kit lens and spring for a prime starting out. Get the $4 adapter and use any of the great Pentax lenses since the 60s (eBay, here you come!). From a Happy Pentax user since 1965.

K20D is a really amazing, sturdy and well performing camera. Have had mine for a while and I'm very fond of it. Right now, the K-7 is also an option for buyers, but I'm not sure it should be everyone's choice (price based). While I've not tried it but heard of its new features, I also think that some of them just push the price up and aren't of use to some of us (e.g. video). In any case, I'm sure it's a great camera as well.
