Hi - my daughter is quadriplegic and uses a headpointer to type etc. She is really keen to get into photography and is interested in the macro shots - flowers, insects, birds, etc.
She needs to use a remote control via switch which she operates with her head and I have found such a switch here in Australia but the camera they have made the switch for is a Pentax Option S1 with special interface, zoom & shoot. If I buy this camera will she be able to take the shots she wants to? As you've probably realized I know zero about cameras. ![]() Thanks in advance |

May be this is what she'll want - Some Canon EOS cameras have a Utility (MAC & PC) that allows you to view the image from your camera and have full control of your camera.
http://img1.focus-numerique.com/focu...os-utility.jpg I use a Satechi WR-C100 RF Wireless Remote Control which allows me to invoke auto focus and shoot. (for Canon EOS - 60D, Digital Rebel XT, XTi, XSi, XS, T1i, T2i & Canon Powershot G10, G11, G12 & Pentax K7 Digital SLR cameras fully compatible with Canon RS-60E3, PENTAX CS-205, CONTAX LA-50). It is RF so you don't need to have a clear path between the camera receiver and the remote (unlike IR remotes).
