Default A word about Pentax

Just to let people know, I bought a Pentax Kx in canada. the software PENTAX Digital Camera Utility 4, was not in the box, and Pentax Canada are ignoring my request
saying they dont have any anymore.
So Pentax may have some good camera, but the service is something, that make me regret
I bought a Pentax.

So if you ever buy a Pentax dslr make sure you open the box, before you pays for it...

Why didn't you just take it back to the store (or send it back) and have them give you a new one?

Pentax isn't in the wrong here: you should have dealt with the store first.

That happened to me some years back with a Minolta point and shoot film camera. Had a heck of a time getting a manual. I should have just returned it!

Do you really need the software? Yeah i agree take it to the store... but really if you have a mac, you got iphoto or APerature.. PC you have photoshop or photo elements.

the included software is junk IMHO...

The magic in in the camera and the shooter, not the software!

Sorry for this post, I was mostly letting off some steam.
Yes I did ask the store, they say no,I would have to go to court for that. As far as sending back to Pentax, It would take too long and the camera is working.
My next camera will be a Canon or a Nikon,

Yeahhhhh. I'd say the store is definitely at fault, not Pentax. Were they an authorized reseller?
