My photographs are sorted by file name when I view them, I normally take no notice of the name. While viewing one of my latest photo outings I was puzzled as to where some of my photos were from earlier in the day.
I inserted the memory cards again and ran the batch file I use to move all the photos to my NAS. Still no luck, so I manually checked the cards, no photos were left on the cards. Thinking there was something wrong with my batch file and the photo were gone I did some test shots and then ran the batch file again. As I scrolled down to the bottom to look at them I was surprised to find the "missing" photos but none of the test shots. ![]() It was then it dawned on me that I was looking at photo "IMG9999.jpg" and the camera had clocked back over to IMG0001.jpg I read the review of the K-5, it has inspired me to get back out there and show what can be done with a camera that is 5 generations old.... well reading that and looking through a Flickr photostream of someone that has the latest Nikon but not much talent.
