Sooooo, the K-r is here and now I can't decide if I REALLY want the K-r or if I'm going to go with the K-x. I'm just trying to decide if the k-r has $400 worth of upgrades over the K-x (for me) AHHHHHH!!! Decisions, decisions *sigh* I still can't wait to get to Akiba this week to test them both out, though...

I'm trying to decide if it's compelling to buy one once the initial sticker shock dies down for my girlfriend. She's not comfortable using my K20D, although the K-7 she loves. Unfortunately, I ALSO love my K-7, so we're at an impasse. I'm considering trading in my K20D for the K-r to get better high ISO, give her video capability, and get her to let me have my camera back.
The K-x wasn't acceptable to me without viewfinder focus indicators. That assist lamp on the K-7 is awesome, but I'm unsure if the K-r also has the newer autofocus system from the K-5. I'm guessing performance wise, the K-r will compare favorably to the K20D, but without the extra controls and dials I'm used to, will be much more user friendly for her, but acceptable as a solid back up camera.
