    Default For Mikoyan....

We dont get many working ships here in Wellington and those that we do get tend to come and go at night but I have scoured my pictures for these...

Sealion Wellington, a former lighthouse ship in the late 1950's, now coverted to a work boat.

    Teras Oceanic - a Ro-Ro Cargo vessel

One of three Interislander Ro-Ro ferries linking North & South Island - Kaitaki

I hope this is more to your liking......

    Thanks for looking.

That last shot is pretty cool. WE don't get many of those in these parts.

Thanks mate, it's so common here that we tend not to notice it - they sail every three or so hours along side rival company Bluebridge. I was back at the same spot this morning to get some more pictures of a cruseliner and the Bluebridge ferry. See what youv'e done to me....!

Ship pictures are addiciting. But it's more than just the picture. Generally the spots where you take them are nice and peaceful and the lapping of the water is calming.

It seems so...the spot that I found is good for lots of reasons and has resulted in many different shots.

Thanks blinkshot, I believe it was the Spirit of NZ sailing from Petone to Queens warf - I saw it whilst waiting for some other ships to arrive. Being quite small the picture is not very sharp.
