Old 488 is ready to go

Here is an image of Engine 488, taken in the Chama Yard of the C&TSRR. Walking around this yard is a great experience. No one bothers you; can take as long as you want; and the only place "off limits" is the Machine Shop".

Wow ... fantastic photo. I'm jealous. I have a feeling I'd burn through a couple cards down there -- it looks like no end of great subjects.

Thanks David. It is a wonderful place to fill up some cards, for sure. Where else can you find a 100-yr old RR yard, open to the public (except for the machine shop) that allows you to take as much time as you would like to walk all over the yard capturing images?
There are plenty of great subjects.
