Default Abondonded Hot Springs - Byron, CA

I hope this is an appropriate place for these....anyway.....Yesterday I was looking for old abandoned buildings in my area. I found the Hot Springs Hotel in Byron. This location was used as a hotel, and later, a Japanese and German POW interrogation camp in WW2. History Page. I will be adding pictures to this set as I go through and edit them. Byron Hot Springs - a set on Flickr - curse you 100mb limit....

I am still new to serious digital photography, and trying to get out as much as possible to work on composition.

I have so many shots I really liked, but these are some of my favorites.

Great job with all these! For some reason that third shot of the "reset" button really stands out to me.

The 4th one is my favourite. Is it a close-up of charred wood? Really nice light and texture.

    Thanks for the comments everyone!
Pseudomatic - It is a close up of chipped paint shot in RAW and converted to grayscale.
