Default Share Your Top 3 Monochrome Shots - Inspire Me!

I'm going to make a conscious effort to take more black and white photographs from now on and I'd like some inspiration. So please share your best 3 shots here!

Here are mine so far...

To Touch the Clouds

Just Like Old Times

I love the middle shot, the timing on it is awesome!

Here are my 3 faves from my own limited work with monochrome:

Thank you. I love the concept of your third shot. Did you use a snoot?

I agree with Hayward: great idea, Ginger. Your first photo is amazing - great DOF and conversion.

Here a 3 of mine.

The Birds

Hygiene

WWYD #108

(This last one isn't mine. I just did some post work to it as part of the "What Would You Do?" series here on DPS.)

I love black and white but neglect to use it as much as I should, but here's my favourite 3 so far...

If you go down to the woods today...

Adam and Jenny - Fixed

Counting Fingers

Please bear in mind my photography age, how long I've been shooting, is only 14 months so far and all of these are at least 8 months old.

I certainly did. I have a small army of snoots that I made from flexible craft foam, they are easily the coolest and cheapest lighting mods I have.
