Default from DSLR to PC "live view"

Hey guys newbie here. Got a D90 and I'm very interested into fashion photography. Been watching America's Next Top Model quite a while now and I'm just wondering what's that software that they use where every shot from the DSLR are viewed right away by Jay Manuel (Art Director) from the iMac? I was thinking to use it on a laptop. Thanks in advance guys!

Don't know what software if any he uses. But from my understanding its just the software that comes with the camera. Also, I believe you can use that with Lightroom.

Check out D-Town Episode 24

Also check out OnOne's software for the Iphone/Ipod Touch software that allows you to remotly shoot and view on the Ipod/Iphone.

Dont know if this will help you, but Liveview is the term used for seeing it live on the lcd of the camera.

I use Nikons camera control software to take the pic on my d40x and it automatically shows on the pc.

On the d90 though, I am sure there is software for it so show the liveview from the camera to the pc

You can also use gphoto2 to cause the camera to take a photo and immediately download it.
