Auctiva / ebay pictures

Hi
My wife has a small business selling things on ebay and has been using Auctiva to list her items for sale. All has been well until 2 days ago when the pictures she uploaded developed a 'ghosting' effect which blurrs the edges of images.
The pictures are fine when viewed through photoshop but when uploaded they become unacceptably blurred.
The pictures are taken using a fuji finepix A700 camera and saved on computer using Adobe photoshop.
Can anybody suggest a remedy as it is frustrating to say the least.
