I don't know of any rules like the sunny 16 rule for indoor shooting. Mainly because lighting situations vary so dramatically from one place to another. The best thing to do is learn to use your camera's light meter. Figure out how it sets exposure compared to how you want your images to look, then adjust accordingly. With enough practice you'll start to learn which settings work best for you in certain situations.

Thank you! I shoot in RAW so when my photos aren't exposed correctly, I fix them afterwards. Seems like I've been doing quite a lot more fixing since I've switched to only manual the past year (but they do look better afterwards than when I shot automatic and didn't have to do as much post-processing- maybe that's the point?). I'd like to perfect my pics while taking them so there is less post-processing if possible. I know this is a learning process, I'm just so impatient! haha.

Where do I find 'Ken's stuff'?
