Default Photoshop registration

I'm new to this forum, so I'm not sure if I'm in the right place. I'm trying to find out if it is possible to register a legally downloaded version of PS without the computer being on line. I have a client that just bought a new computer (W7) and wants to keep the internet at bay.

Nope, according to Adobe, you must activate Photoshop over the internet.

Connect the computer to the internet just long enough to activate and then disconnect. Shouldn't be online long enough to get a virus.
