Hi all.
I read the self portrait article from this week and got excited to start doing those kind of photos. But i really enjoy a lot more when i am behind the lcd monitor setting apperture, shutter speed... not having to work with auto mode. So, i think that to make a self-portrait, a tethered shooting would be great (in my idea, you can remotely set the manual settings and take a picture from a pc). I have a panasonic fz-28 camera and i spent some hours trying to find a way to achieve some insights on how to do the tethered shooting with the camera. I haven't found anything about it. Does anyone knows a way to do that? Thanks, Leonardo Porto |

I don't think Panasonic has any tethered shooting capability in any of its cameras. Remember, the USB communication between the camera and the computer for anything other than getting the photos off the camera is going to be a vendor-specific protocol, so the Canon/Nikon solutions probably aren't going to work.
Your best bet might be to see if there's some kind of remote/cable-release for your camera that you can purchase or rig up, or to use the timer. |
