Among using some fabric I was thinking of getting some wallpaper and maybe wallpapering say some plywood or something that I can lean again the wall and use a backdrop, but If I were to cover a piece of ply wood or whatever kind of wood or something what would be a proper size big enough. I would only be using this for more infant, toddler, and maybe adult shots where they are sitting down and if it's adults probably close together, but I guess I would need to think about if it's a family. I hope you all can help me figure a size out b/c I have no clue whatsoever and I have no extra room to spare entirely to this and nor the funds to buy actual professional backdrops. Plus the room i'm doing this in is also used as on office. So again how big should this backdrop be? Thanks for any help that is much needed!

I'm not sure exactly how to answer the question, but the idea is an interesting one. Looking at backdrops (cloth ones), I see at BH's website they generally seem to range from 9' to 12' wide. I'd assume you'd want a similar width here.
Another way to approach it might be to place a chair in the room where you'll take photos in the spot where you'd seat people. Take a picture and see how much of the wall you have in your photo after cropping it to the size you'd expect to offer as a portrait to clients/family/etc. Next measure that part of the wall that appears in the photo, add a bit for magin of error, and plan a backdrop of that width.
