Software Help please

Evening,

Im just not sure if Im in the right place to ask this question on this site or not but here goes anways and will see.

Im tryin to figure out how to organize all my thousdans of digital pics here from memory sticks, to external hard drive to on computer..

For software programs do any of you use PSE 5,6,7,8? or Corel paint Shop Pro Ultra X2? Just wondering what one is better to invest in or if there is something else out there better for just a beginner really into photography and photo editing.

I use Photoshop CS4 for my editing. It handles RAW, my PP and anything else I might throw at it.

As for organizing: find a good, LARGE, external HD and put everything on there. Organize it in a simple way that you can understand. Then get another one just like the first, and copy it. Then hide that second one, updating it every so often (monthly, whatever).

That'll sort things right out

Thanks alot for the info...I know a friend mentioned that CS4 but I havent checked any into that but am thinking thats the one thats alot of $.. But im sure well worth it all so will have to see here.

Im still doing major learning just for myself here so have lots to learn but this site is awesome with all the great feedback ya get from people.
