Default I need a flash..New guy question
I need to know which flash to buy for my Canon 20D.....of which I am in love with. Sometimes Ebay is a beautiful thing.

I would personally go with a canon 430exII. Its probably going to run you what your camera would be used, but you may be able to find one for 200 floating around out there.

I just got my first flash unit a few months ago and let me tell you, it makes a difference. Its like relearning your camera, because things that just didn't look good with the pop up flash look beautiful with a more powerful, bounced flash.

I would definitely get something with a rotate and tilt head.

I actually just bought a flash for my 400D a few months ago. A Vivitar 383 the few times that I have used it, it has worked great. Haven't had enough time to play with it though. School is very time consuming. You might also want to try a 550ex or maybe a 420ex if you are tight on money. I agree with Phil that it will be like relearning your camera.
