Default How to make black background for flower outdoor picture

Hello,
Does anyone know how to darken or even black the background for outdoor flower shot?

Thanks, but I still prefer the method without the bucket, since I don't carry the bucket with me all the time. IN fact the bucket method is a great one, especially shooting at home.

In that case, I use flash with a high shutter speed so as to only light up the flower.

I read all the comments, I can tell u one thing.........if u can't carry any extra thing, u can try my tips. In case of outdoor shooting, if u place the flower(object) in the centre, in PP add vignette effect in ur picture. It'll give u the darker outside effect. Otherwise u have to do hardwork in PP. U've to select the object and separete the BG from it, then u can make BG darker without the object or flower.

I have a little trick that has always worked for me.. Place your hand behind the flower. Then add contrast and brightness until it is perfect. =)

This is my 1st time posting a photo on here so I hope it isn't to big.
