Wow recently I just cant seem to get away from the zone system lol.. the zone system is one of the easiest ways to set exposure and also very usefull to just check a place quickly to see if you can expose a shot it will tell you quite a lot about the environment your in and how the camera is reading the scene.... quite useful for HDR as well and setting up your exposures for each shot as long as you know your full increment shutter speeds and f-stops (unlike me who has to have them wrote down haha)

The sunny 16 rule is just a simplified way of using the zone system. Ken

That is absolutely true the sunny 16 is a version of the zone system so probably worth learning and trying both of them out its never wrong to try things you always learn something from them.

I guess I just dont like having to think too hard about a scene and just like the simplicity of the zone system lol its not an excuse I am ashamed!!
