The C in a circle (C) is actually a standard character on most fonts: find something like the Character Map on windows or the Font book for Mac and copy/paste. There are also shortcuts for both, I believe.

As for pasting it onto images, thats usually done with software like Photoshop or The Gimp. The actual steps may vary but the concept is the same.

Hold down the ALT key and on your number keypad (like a calculator keypad) type 0169

Here's a page with a lot of different Alt Key numeric codes for Windows. I believe there's a link on the page for Mac, also.

On a Mac, you press Option+G. And you will get the copyright sign.... ©

As for putting it on an image, I normally do a text layer over the image with white text set to 25% opacity. I usually just do it as a batch process. But if I do get a trouble one, I'll do it individually.

laptop has the number keys they should be in white on the letters IOPKL;M,. you will use the fn key to make them work usually. so for you just hold down the alt key and the fn key and type the letters that correspond to 0169 on your letter keys.
