Default I'm new.... critique my photos

Hi.
I'm new to this forum and to photography (other than the average picture taking). I started an artistic photography class. Maybe I can get critiqued on some of my shots before I turn them in. After looking at all the beautiful photos I saw on here, I feel mine are sub par. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Hey!
I would definitely say the second one is my favorite in this set!

Are you the one in the pictures or are you taking the pictures?

I assume these are SOOTC and have no PP done to them at all correct?
What camera are you using?
Are you shooting in manual?
What lens are you using?
What are you using for PP work?
The more you give us to work with the more we can help.

The second one is your best shot here. The other 4 look more like a snapshot.
You may also want to read the RULES that are stickied at the top of the section about how many pictures you can post and what info needs to be posted with them.

For people posting images:

1. To keep it fair for everyone, PLEASE just only post one thread per day. If you post more than one thread within a 24 hour period, moderators and admins reserve the right to delete excess threads.

2. Please post no more than four images in the beginning post. Further pictures (again, no more than four at a time) can be added after a further 24 hours or after at least two other people have replied to the thread.

3. Please keep images to 800px on the longest side. Mods reserve the right to resize oversize images or delete them until resized. This is easy to put up the proper size if you use flickr. If you feel it is necessary for us to see a larger size, link to it. Please no attachments.

4. With the sheer volume of threads that get started and the members we have, some threads may get lost in the masses.

5. If you request critique on one of your threads, moderators and admins reserve the right to move the thread to a more appropriate location.

Here is some reading to get you started in the right direction:

I do apologize. I am 30 minutes new to this forum. I didn't mean to break the rules. Thanks for the info.

Allow me to apologize for the other members, they forget what its like to be "new". Your fine, you didn't do anything different then most new people to the forum. For your first time, you did pretty well. I have to ask is that a private jet, if so do you own it? Sorry but the jet really drew my attention.

I have to admit that the blonde grabbed my attention, but theres just something about that jet.
No it wasn't really aimed at you, just the fact that someone else had to mention it to.
