Default Problem!

Just got an Olympus E510, a newbie here, and need some help.

Everytime I take a picture without a flash, the screen is blank!

Is this fstop problems? Aperture? Help?

Can you post an example with EXIF information? And what mode are you shooting in?

It sounds like it could be that you're trying to shoot in low light, and that your camera can only get a good exposure with flash. You can try increasing the iso setting, lowering the shutter speed, or opening up the aperture (depending on the lens's maximum aperture).
