THE nikonians may be happy to note that following the SB-800's success., the nikons have come up with more high performance, outstanding adaptability, and comfortable operations.as the basic characteristics of the new entrant.....The unit automatically adjusts to the angle of illumination and thus offers considerably more scope (24-105), than its predecessor the SB 800...Through the use of a diffusing screen, the wide angle focallength drops to 14mm and when using the DX format, it goes down to just 10mm......best use for photographers having 10-20mm zoom lens.

A large LCD display which changes according to the capture mode and setting of the flash unit, and an improved button layout with a central dial promise even more operating comfort...The tilting of the zoom reflector head has been extended downward and further left compared with SB 800......welcome nikonians.
