How this pic was taken?

Hi All.

First of all thank you Admin for accepting my membership. I came across this pic in a social network site.I wanna know how did the photographer blended the upper portion of Eiffel Tower with the sky. Is it some Photoshop trick or pure cam technique. I am a newbie in photography, so just curious to know about it.

Hi - Please do your best not to post images that don't belong to you, though you're welcome to link to them... (See the © mark on the image)

The top of the tower is in fog, the lights are illuminating the fog, they've taken a photo with a shutter speed that lets the glow of those lights shine through.

The pic is quite awesome, but there is a "copyright" mark on it.

I actually dont understand the issue here. OP didn't remove the copyright notice; he's asking how to do something similar. A link would be helpful (back to the source), but otherwise this seems fine to me.

He could of linked to it, but not copied to a new website without the owners permission

Don't post copyright content onto DPS - it will get you banned.

Link to it, don't copy it and post it.
