Default digital backdrops?

I was wondering if anybody has used digital backdrops before and if they are worth while? I do photography as hobby, photographing friends and family (mostly my 4 yr old son)

They really aren't worth your time unless you are really good with photoshop or don't mind working on each photo for 1+ hr

If you learn how to use photoshop cs5 and you learn how to set up your shots with certain background techniques you can composite an image in less than 10 minutes. But, to get excellent results with your family pics it is not worth the trouble.

I played around with what I assume would be digital backdrops for a little while. Set up a cheap green screen at a party and had some friends get in front of it. Then used PSE 10 to remove the green screen and put in some different backgrounds. It didnt take to long ro edit and was fun to try it out.
