    Default tricky light

    hi everyone ,have just joined this site and have a question ,first of many probably ,i live near the sea in thailand ,when i visit the beach have a problem with foreground being dark ,background(sea) very bright ,beach is covered with chairs/umbrellas so little light under umbrellas ,the sea (background very bright ) hard to get both right in the pic ,any ideas ,i use a digital compact ,cannon sx210is

    Try submitting the image to the critique section (see the rules) and hopefully you'll get some helpful tips.
