Default Orb Photography

I'm sure many of you have been noticing orbs in your digital images, especially those taken with a point and shoot camera. Many photographers believe these are dust, condensation, etc. but there are a fair amount of photographers who also believe they are spirit orbs, and evidence of other worldly creatures.

They appear as dandelions in your images, and are often more pronounced when taken in older buildings or places that are rumored to be haunted.

Have you noticed orbs in your shots? If so, what do you think they are?

Theyre dust or waterspots.

I thought they were refracted light. I've often noticed them when I take pics of people near lights or shiny surfaces like Christmas trees. It's a nice thought to think they are guardian angels or some other spiritual entity though.

I was always told that if the "Orb" looks to emit it's own light it is something paranormal, if it is clear and you can see right thru it, it's dust. I took a picture in Ireland at the Kilmanhem Gaol (jail) and one showed up on a second floor in the doorway. I argue that it is not dust due to it's location and have several paranormal groups view it and agree.

I have many, many pics with orbs in them. A couple have of mine have been analized also and determand to be paranormal. I have so many pics with orbs in them, Some of them at night, in the rain, snow or sunny days, whatever. The weather conditions don't seem to be much of a factor. Location is a factor...... when I used to live in an old farm house on a farm, I got many, many pics with orbs, especially around the barn and a big camp fire pit we had. One thing that is quite interesting, I have taken a series of shots one after the other and the orbs have moved. Quite a number of pics have dozens of orbs with the odd one appearing to be moving while all the rest are stationary and varying in size as well. Another location I got lots of orb shots is of a waterfall and surrounding area. Something else I have noticed is that they are all whiteish, kind of like snowflakes falling to almost transparent. I have recently took on the task of going through my pics and copying all of them to their own file. Big job, some day I will complete it.

All good and fine talking up a storm, but nobody is willing to put some shots on here to let us make our comments based on what we see on them.

You asked for examples

For many years I thought all ords had a physical explanation until...
The helicopter shot has what most consider ords an I might think they were caused by debris from the copters prop wash. That was until i saw the preceding image (wrecked vehicle) and there was no smoke or fog visible at the site.

Now the story. This was a state trooper who was gravely injured and was given little chance of survival for several weeks (he has recovered and is back on duty in a position that match his disabilities) The image of the cars was made as the trouper was being moved to the chopper. The second was as the chopper departed. Ever heard of the Blue Brotherhood?
