Well gang, it is that time of year to try your hand at outside Christmas lights. I am going to try this year. I did a quick Google search for techniques. Here are the two best I found. The first from good old DPS and the other from adidap.com. Once I get mine I'll post and let's all jump in with our photos and tips.

Here is my contribution. It seemed f6.3 worked for me with my 50mm f1.8. I maintained an ISO of 100 and played with the apeture to keep the shutter speed between 1/20 to 2 seconds. I used a tripod and electronic shutter release with a tungston WB setting.
