Hi, My name is George and i'm new here. hello y'all. I'm kinda new at photography and when i have free time, i like to shoot and take photos as inspiration. This is the case here. I've got these photos and would be happy if someone here could tell me how these pics were taken, i mean, iso, exposure, white balance, etc. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums.
The photographer(s) who took the photographs would be the best people to ask as exif data is not available on the photographs.

Don't get caught up on trying to emulate the exact settings because there are too many unknowns to think that copying those would get you even close to what they did.
I'm assuming that you're pretty new to photography based on your question, so the best advice I could give you is this, and I promise it's not me trying to be condescending or a smart ass. But learning the basics about composition and exposure and lighting will tell you many of the answers you need to figure out these photos without having to know the settings. I'd pose you need to know more about the light in these shots than the settings to figure them out. For example: I can tell you with almost certainty that in the first image, the most he used was natural back light and possibly a reflector. I can tell you he used a shallow Depth of Field. I can tell you that he exposed for the subject (mostly). I can tell you where the sun was in relation to his subject and the camera resulting in sun flare. But I have no clue what settings he used. Knowing what I do about this image, I'm pretty sure I could duplicate it without knowing the shutter speed, aperture, iso of this particular image. See my point? If you're not sure exactly what the bolded terms above mean, you need to learn about them before worrying about exact settings. Glad to see you on DPS, and keep asking questions, but I promise you that the instances where knowing the settings tells you everything you need to know about the image are very very rare. I hope I don't come across as rude, but it's rare that these questions can be answered without having the exif info on the image. |
