Is anyone aware of a situation that would lead to some of your images being populated with white specks? I shot a soccer game yesterday and and a back of pictures in the middle of my shoot have white specks throughout them, extensive but not uniform. They are small but big enough that running despeckle on them and the needed radius blurs the picture. They are showing up at about 50% magnification but really stand out at 100. Images before and after are fine. There are no orbs and I wasn't using flash. I do know I have some sensor dust I need to deal with. I was shooting at 4.0 and these specks were white as opposed to the dark blurry spots I would associate with sensor dust. I didn't notice anything floating around in the air and the lense seems clean. I was shooting my 40d and 70-200L. I know images would help, but I can't upload them at the moment and worrying about this is driving me nuts so I'm hoping this is enough information. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated and I'll try to post samples later.
Thanks! John
