Default night time sports photo's how???

Can someone please advise me what the best settings would be to get some decent sports photo's at night. I am going to a netball final of a friend, they play one game indoors, and the other on an outside court. I thought it might be fun to have a go at getting some shots for her to keep. Should i go full manual or should i maybe stick to apeture mode or shutter mode?

You'll probably need a speedlight to get anything decent. Also, if you have to ask whether or not you should go full manual, then you shouldn't go full manual.

Hello Nanwu,

What camera and lens do you have?

Indoor, fast sports, night, you need a fast lens, high ISO and preferably a very good camera.

Check out critique section here and look at sports and camera and exif info to start you off.

Cheers,
John W
