Default Nikon SB600 or Bower SFD926N

Can anyone tell me the major differences between the Bower SFD926N Digital Autofocus Power Zoom Flash (for Nikon i-TTL) and the Nikon SB-600 AF Speedlight Flash
? Both have TTL capability and a lot of great features but the price tag is about $100 difference. I really need to get a flash and money is limited but Is it worth the extra $100 to get the Speedlight? I have a nikon D50 and always borrow the Nikon SB600 from work but I want my own flash. I've never used the Bower.

The SB will allow you to use Nikon's CLS, but without looking any deeper into things I really couldnt say

ittl? or is that a typo and you meant TTL? It is designed for Nikon as a TTL flash.

iTTL is Nikon's current iteration in the same way that eTTL is for Canon.

OK... Is that different then just TTL? Sorry, I really don't know. I know TTL means Through The Lens. I thought iTTL meant Intelligent Through The Lens and i thought it meant the same thing.

i-TTL uses pre flash to determine a balanced overall exposure.

TTL simply reads reflected light off the subject during exposure.

AHHHHH!! Thank you. I understand now. That's pretty cool that it can do that! or at least the speedlight can. Guess I'd better read the description a little more thoroughly.
