Default Best method for cleaning the sensor

Hi,
I am having a problem getting my sensor clean. The built-in vibration system doesn't do it and neither does a manual blower.

I hate the thought of touching the sensor with any kind of cleaning substance. Just seems too risky.

Btw, it's a Pentax K200D.

Thanks.

Ian

Part 2: I happened upon this link in another post on this subject : http://www.cleaningdigitalcameras.com/
which seems to be pretty extensive but I would still like to hear from others, especially K200D owners.

cheers!

Mind you, these guys are super-picky. You may not need all three techniques.

I use pre moistened sensor swabs and a lens pen to get rid of any streaking. Use an air bulb to get rid of any dust and than hit with the sensor swab and then with the lens pen to get rid of any streaks. It may take several applications to get rid of everything.

To check if everything is gone................... go to your editing program................fill a layer with sky blue...............turn off your auto focus ..................take a picture of your computor screen at the heighest f/stop of the lens(hold the camera close to the screen and don't worry about focus)..................download photo and look for dirt on the sensor. If you see any marks , it will be inverted, so a spot on the top, will be on the bottom of the sensor.

A good solid scrub with some soapy water, then a full-on rinse
