Question Struggling with iso and aperture and exposure

Hi there, I am struggling with my ISO, aperture and Exposure. I just cant seem to get it right.Do i need to set it everytime i take a photo, Some of my photos came out really nice and then others are blury or rather not in focus. I also struggle with my glasses as i have bi focals. Any ideas wouuld be appreciated. thanks Sharon

Sharon, I wear bifocals too. But I look through the distance portion of my glasses and I am fine. Or, I set the dopter way up and shoot without my glasses on. As for the rest, read the link Nick sent you.

Thankyou Nickbedford and Patricia, I have changed the diopter but it doesnt help. Where do i find the Exposure Triangle in the dps, new at this and trying to find my way around it. Sharon

For quick setups I usually set my shutter speed first based on subject motion.
Then adjust the aperture and ISO settings accordingly. I think shutter speeds are always the primary limiting factor in most setups, assuming genrral shooting and that you're not looking to get bokeh.

SK66 came up with an interactive exposure triangle.
It is really neat, if want to see a visual of what happens when you change variables.

@ Sharon.

You may be able to get "Dioptric adjustment lenses" for your cameras viewfinder.
