Cool In need of ideas/tips

Hello DPS friends!
So ... the fair is almost here. In fact, It's a few days away and I was wondering if any of you DPS peeps would be kind enough to help a girl out with some tips. I think the county fair is a great place to practice my photography (I'm still a rookie). I can already tell that I'm going to have a ball with the lighting lol.
But anywho ... I was hoping for some tips, mainly on motion blur but heck I'll take anything! Thanks guys

I don't have any good tips, but I think you have a great idea. It is fair time in my part of the world as well and I've been think along the same lines as you. It should present some interesting photographic opportunities. From spinning light trails to interesting character studies.

Smile Fairs are a blast

Hi Drew
The fair is a great place to shoot, position yourself at the front of the wildest ride and you can get some awesome shots of peoples facial expressions. don't be afraid to get dirty, get down on the ground and get your angles.I love to go at night, You will be shooting in low light most of the time so adjust accordingly. Check out the kids rides they can make for some funny shots. Also you can shoot the animals if they have some. Have fun!!!

Try some panning shots of carousels and other rotary rides.

So here are some of the shots that I took from the fair:

Ferris Wheel

Fair Ride "Yo-Yo"

Fair Ride "Spider"

I wish I had a steadier hand. The last one would of been 10x better if I could of stood still long enough :]

Thanks again for all your advice guys.
