I don't have any good tips, but I think you have a great idea. It is fair time in my part of the world as well and I've been think along the same lines as you. It should present some interesting photographic opportunities. From spinning light trails to interesting character studies.

Hi Drew
The fair is a great place to shoot, position yourself at the front of the wildest ride and you can get some awesome shots of peoples facial expressions. don't be afraid to get dirty, get down on the ground and get your angles.I love to go at night, You will be shooting in low light most of the time so adjust accordingly. Check out the kids rides they can make for some funny shots. Also you can shoot the animals if they have some. Have fun!!! |
