Default Sports / Quick Photography

Can anyone point me in the direction of a book or just helpful guide to Sports Photography or the situation when you don't have the advantage of time to carefully compose your shot as you would with portrait or landscape etc...

For motor sport photography, and I feel the same principals apply to most forms of "action" photography. (it's an early tute of mine.)

Motor Sport Photograhy.

or another, later, version.

Thread series #48

Bird photography is very similar in that you are shooting with simlar gear and technique, and you have no control over the subject asnd little control over the lighting

This nmay also help. (It is thread series #23)

I have spent a lot of time shooting motor sport.

In street photography you have similar problems.

What sport were you wanting to shoot?

There have been at least 8 sports photography topics posted in the Photography tips & Tutorials section of this site (excluding the forums).
