Default Need help with indoor sports photography

I have a canon rebel xs and a 28-135mm lense. I am doing great with taking outside pictures but am having a hard time with some indoor ones. I have been trying to take pictures of my son at Karate but I alwys get the motion blur. Can anyone give me any tips on how I can get in door action pictures without the blur??? Please!

Increase your ISO and get a lens with a larger maximum aperture--these are the only two ways to increase your shutter speed. The EF 85mm f/1.8 USM is usually recommended if you're on a budget. If you're not, then the EF 70-200 f/2.8 IS USM is the one to get.
