I'm shooting a fashion show in a couple days and wanted to check your opinions on this. The fashion show is going to be outdoors at 6:30 pm for about an hour. The runway is 2 feet high. I'm also doing shots before the show inside the store of the models getting ready, etc. What lenses and settings would you use?
These are my lenses: Canon 75-300 4-5.6 (non USM) Canon 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Canon 50mm 1.8 Canon 100mm 2.8 Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC I'm thinking either the 28-135 or the 50 or 100mm might be good. With the 100mm, I could stand further back and maybe prevent the weird angle of shooting upwards at the models from the front of the stage? I'm saving up for a 70-200 2.8 IS lens, but until then, I have to make do with what I have for lenses. I don't like the quality of the 75-300mm. I use a Canon 7D camera and I have a Sigma 500 super flash. I wonder if I won't need the flash for the outdoor shots? Also, wonder what settings would be ideal for that time of day?

50mm for the before/after shots: 100 or 50mm for the runway shots, depending on angle and location.
