Default I came to this forum because I need help but

I can't figure how to post a photo to find out what I am doing wrong. I just purchased a used Tamron af75-300mm 1:4-5.6 LD TELE -MACRO(1:3.9)
The macro is horrible because minor detail does not show and edges are not defined and at 8 x 10 are horrible. Not even sure why they say it does macro. The zoom itself also seems to leave alot of definition out of the edges. If I wish to take a picture of a bird feather detail is lost. If I photo a flower then the petal definition is lost. The only thing I see it realy take good pictures of are buildings without cropping because certain details you don't need to notice and probably don't care to. I have tried with and without flash different aperatures and all on the tripod. Focus is on the money according to my eye and the indicator light. Not likely to get a good shot while holding it. Has not happened yet for me. I would like to get a clear shot of my humming bird but with this lense I am not sure I will. When I check the ratings on this people say it is sharp and when I looked on my view finder I judged by that when I got it but when I put the photos on the computer I don't have good images for printing out or anything. Where do I go from here.

Welcome!

It would help a lot if you posted a photo showing the problem.

Hi!

Here's the link to the FAQ about posting pictures. It shows how to post from various image hosting sites.

Hope that helps.

I made no sense of the one for how to load from photo bucket so I went back and tried some old codes for general purpose and those worked for me instead.

The horse image was just a test to see if my code worked. It just took me a bit to get it off while I was getting my pictures ready.

Chill out dude! Too much caffeine will make you jittery! It's gonna be ok. I promise. Your thread was moved because it was posted in the wrong section of the forum. "General Chit Chat" is not a technique discussion area. If you would have read the faq's and guidlines, you would have known that.

There is probably a good explanation for what happened. It doesn't look like the mods erased it. If they did, they would have told you why in the original post. When the thread was moved, the link was probably broken. Open up a flikr account, and post the HTML from there. It is really easy, and seems to jive with this forum well. Or you can upload directly to the thread using the attachment link (looks like a paperclip), where your thread tools are.

LOL @ 2 hours between "Help me" and "Delete my account". Might we be just a touch impatient?

Did you read the FAQ, specifically the section on posting images? Were your images too big which causes the page formatting to break?

Digital Photography School - Photography Forums - FAQ

P.S., WTF was with that animated horse picture?
