Have you tried another card?

Hmmm, interesting. We were just talking on another thread about how rare memory card problems are; most of us have shots thousands of images on one card and never had a problem, but this does appear to be a card problem. I like the idea of trying a different card, but you might also try gently cleaning the leads with pencil eraser. Leads on the card, not the camera...can't promise results but it's worth a try.

Hello Richard,
Thanks for your reply, yes I do have four 4gb SD cards. Two Verbatum Premium, one San Disk Ultra and a dodgy looking Kingston. Because rotate them so much and format them in the camera when I've downloaded, I'm not sure which is the culprit, perhaps the dodgy Kinston. I'll try to make a note of whats what when I'm taking shots. Cheers, John W
